Where to begin? Maybe the word of the day should be game changer.
---Discovered one can watch YouTube channels that normally get watched on one's laptop, you can watch on tv with YouTube TV. Wow, gamechanger.
---We stopped at TG Maxx yesterday. Yikes, it was like Christmas time--crowded and not a fun experience at all (like it usually is). Game changer, hubby found this rolling shelf that goes in between the washer and dryer. He took a shelf out to have it sit shorter. It was originally for $30; he got it for $20 as one of the wheels was broken in half.
---And put the shelf on my side of the sink and said and I quote, "I'm tired of seeing your junk everywhere, so, there I fixed it." He knows darn well; I am going to rearrange things. It is a game changer though.
---On another front, stopped at my favorite consignment store---not a fun experience yesterday, again, crowded and it was elbow to elbow. Listen, snowbirds, time for you to go home. I did buy two blouses for work. They were originally for $11 a piece and I got them for $8 each.

| I figured since I was taking a photo of the shelf, I might as well take a photo of the freshly washed blouses. I don't usually show the clothes I buy. |
---We also met up with friends at
for lunch.
---stopped at Walmart...and wouldn't you know it, I forgot my list...well...look what hopped in the cart...yeah...we shall not mention who has been eating them.

So, nothing is on tap for the day...I do have some laundry to do. Expecting an Amazon delivery today. Hubby needed a fan belt for his riding lawn mower, and I ordered some capris. Hopefully this week we will be back to warmer weather. The last few days have been darned right chilly. I will also put in a Pork Loin, carrots and potatoes in the oven later for dinner.

Those are some good game changers! Nice deal on the blouses too.
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be warmer up here this week, so hopefully some snow birds will be heading back soon. :)
Good deal on the blouses. I’m waiting on a blouse - $9.99 on Amazon. It comes tomorrow! I need some capris. We’re warming up here too. But there rainy season still has March and April. We’ve had an awesome rainy season!
ReplyDeletePork loin sounds good. Have a safe week, Linda!
YouTube on the TV is just about all I watch! Haha! You will LOVE it! I love to put on different types of music and listen while I read. I also love the little rolling cart! I have one, but it's a little bit wider. I put all of my detergent and such on it. It really IS a game changer! Yay for thrifting and brownies! My favorites!! Haha!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday, Linda!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda. We have watched Youtube TV quite a bit. You just have to keep signing into your account, which can be a pain. It sounds like you had a pretty good Saturday. Those shelves will really help you with organization. I like those shirts you bought - and you got a great deal! Have a good week. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteFor a grocery list, I would like to recommend a downloadable app called KEEP NOTES. Make a "folder" for remembering whatever. It can be personalized (nice background). I have separate "folders" for things to remember: grocery's, shopping, gardening, etc. It's super cool. My BFF Vicki turned me on to this app. It's always with me that way I have nothing to forget.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week my friend.
Love. 😊
Dinner sounds delicious, Linda! Hmm, I think there is a pork loin in the freezer. Maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been busy my friend. Oh it seems that everywhere I go it's crowded and I do not like crowds and trying to be careful since my immune is still a little low. I hope that you have a lovely week. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, looks like you found some great buys! My husband and I go to Chilis about once a month and get the free chips and salsa with our order. We are enjoying warm weather though Wed. I had to get out my shorts for today. I am off to soak some sun in the backyard. Have a great day and rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteI do like the way the two of you shop with a mission -- get outta the way. That pork loin sounds wonderful. Enjoy the evening!
ReplyDeleteOK listen up kiddo! You keep those snow birds to yourself. They can't drive and are mostly Karens and so you keep them in Florida!! So there. Have a nice day.. Ithose brownie bites look really good)
ReplyDeletePassing thru fast, trying to catch up!! Yep... snowbird traffic. We need them here, but it is so nice when they all go home!! LOL Here in Lakeland, we have spring training with the Detroit Tigers so we have a lot of folks from Michigan who will be here until the season begins.
