Never to Lost...

As I was reading over the comment moderation from yesterday, I came across a comment from a fellow blogger who lives in NYC. I was sort of taken back by her comments; "...Please consider your words. Prayerfully. Because they can cause intense anxiety for one who is not strong in the Lord, and I say this as a sister in Christ." A fellow employee I work with last night was wondering how folks can be so blind...blind to everything all the evil that is around us. Wow blew my mind. I honestly thought he really wasn't paying attention. He will also be one of us who will be losing his job soon. Scary times we live in.

I think, just in my opinion, that is what is wrong right now in America or where we live here in NY. Folks are just plum afraid of hearing the truth. Maybe this reader is new to the blog, maybe she doesn't know me enough to know I keep it real. Apologies if I hurt your feelings, that is not my intention. I am a firm believer you cannot be Lukewarm in ones walk with Christ--with that said I also know I have a very type A personality and come on very strong.

With all this said, I will be the first to admit I do not discuss my Faith as openly as one should. I do however give snippets.

...but sometimes, Faith and Being Saved comes with a push and sometimes with awful and an uncomfortable truth. Back to what my title is...

Amen...it is my reverent prayer that more folks accept God's Grace and take that leap of Faith. Keeping all of you in prayer. My hope is all of you will have a beautiful day.

Sunday Salon

Apologies, work has been keeping me busy. Probably for not much longer, I refuse to 1. Acknowledge my vaxx status and 2. I refuse to be tested. All this gets mandated next week.

Time: 6:55 am

Scene: -3 partly cloudy, real feel is -15. AND No, we didn't get the winter storm that hit the East Coast.

Drinking: My second cup of New England Breakfast Coffee with Italian Creamer. The dog got us up at 5:30 am.

What's on Tap for the Day? I have to work 11:30-8pm. NOT looking forward to it. I really dislike those hours. But I do have Monday and Tuesday off.

Pondering:

--Am I willing to proverbially die on that hill--in regard to saying NO to the vaxx and testing. I had to really dig deep, and the answer is yes. Whether legally it is right or wrong is the real question and a lot of websites say no it's not wrong/they can ask/demand, morally it is wrong. AND that my friends is my issue to bare.

-- ON that note. We are going back to U-Haul tomorrow. See, there are no trucks, and no moving company trucks until late February or early March. Folks are getting out of dodge. ANYWAYS, Since the house is nearly empty and boxed up, we need to further address the plans--we have managed to fit everything in our late son's room. I can only imagine him stating, "Look guys, either your sit or spin. Make up your minds. But enough is enough. Get going.

--Seriously thinking of taking up an offer from friends to live in their RV and put our things in storage until we can get settled.

--I have taken a series of exams for a city job in a certain city in Florida, I should find out this week how that went. The move--if the testing is favorable-might be really sooner than later. All on God's timing. NOT that I am putting all my eggs in one basket, so to speak.

--On that note, the mortgage paperwork going is slow, more paperwork needed, but nonetheless, it is moving along.

--My husband keeps saying, "Linda, you need to be ready to act sooner than later. And I mean SOON."---Yep, scared is the word. Starting over at our age is a bit intimidating.

I am looking forward to the day when I can simply post a photo of either the moving truck or the moving company, truly I am. That would mean progress. grin

Wednesday Hodgepodge

 Joining in with the Hodgepodge.

1. January 25th is National Opposites Day. They say opposites attract...do you agree, and if so is that a good thing?

Of course, I think it's a good thing. My husband is the outgoing one, I prefer to be the wallflower.

Or do you subscribe more to a 'birds of a feather' philosophy?

Nope. Can you imagine how boring Life would be if we all agreed? BORINGGGGGGGGGGG

2. Something you're glad to have behind you? Something you're glad is ahead of you?

I'm not quite sure how to answer this one. We are still mourning...however, we are moving along pretty well considering. All on God's timing, EVERYTHING and I do mean that sincerely.

3. Your favorite hot food?

I like comfort food such as meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy with corn. I also like Cream of Wheat and or Oatmeal.

Cold food?

I like a good sandwich or a nice bowl of cereal.

Are you a fan of breakfast for dinner?

Yep...sure are

4. Are you someone who always arrives to appointments/events early or do you tend to run late? Last thing you were late for?

Early, always. I'm never late.

5. "What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it sweetness?" John Steinbeck....Your thoughts?

I'll just answer it above.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

So, been busy filling out resumes and applications. One of those is for the city to which I grew up in... haven't been back home in like truly 30 years and yet, here I am, they/the city government job want to go forward with my application, and I have to take a series of online tests. Something told me to be brutely honest when applying...and I was...and hubby told me not sell myself short. So, I didn't. So, we shall see if anything comes of this. Facing the past is the only way to move forward, right? So, I think the good Lord smacked me along the way " BUCK UP GIRLY!" Yeah...maybe not those exact words...but you get my meaning. When we left all those years ago, I just never thought we would return...kind of feels like our tails are tucked in.

Nope. And I keep hearing it in my head. Another just keeping it real.

Yep. Have a great day all.

Tuesday 4

Welcome friends!  Good to see you back for another Tuesday 4 where we keep Toni Taddeo's weekly blog post alive.

1. What kind of music do you like the best?

I love rock and roll; 70's-90's.

2. Does the radio play in your car and if so what station or kind of music plays?

It's on the classic rock station (of course, lol)

Does music play in your home often?

Use too...it's been sort of quiet around here since Liam passed away. Then again, my record player is packed up. That kid sure loved music of all kinds.

3. What do you think of the music played in restaurants or stores? Do you find it relaxing or annoying?

Where I work, they play music from the 70's all the way to the present. It does get annoying.

4. What part has music played in your life?

Well, my parents never censored any genre of music, and nor did we. I grew up with a keen sense of sound; probably because I am partially death. My son, he loved music of all kinds. Except rap, he really didn't like it, although he would rap to just drive us nuts, grin. What I would give to hear his voice again...well, I can't say we haven't. My husband was packing up his room and he found the rocket they had built. Built inside that rocket was some sort of recorder and the kid taped his voice he was like 6 or so and he was counting down to liftoff. Oh, so sweet...and many tears. I can't believe it has survived all these years, I quickly recorded it to my Tablet.

What kind of music played at your wedding or at parties you have been to?

All kinds of genre from country, rock to disco.

I got nothing done yesterday. We did hear back from one of the lenders and the stipulation is I have to have a job to go to or least an offer. So, I spent the day filling out applications, sending in resumes etc. So, I think Palm Coast will probably be little out of our price range. Further west from the beach we go it will be cheaper. We shall see. Jobs are plentiful everywhere, just not housing. Nope, not discouraged. My husband said he thinks we ought to have thought this through...nah, just a blip. I told him, "Where's your sense of adventure?" He goes, "I married it." LOLOL

Yep. Have a great day!

Today...

Good morning from a frigid north. My husband has been very busy packing up the house while I am at work.

Giggling, nope not stabbing anyone, nor would I... but the graphic is cute BECAUSE I am pretty sure we all have felt like that at one point. LOL

I put my desk on Marketplace. Let's see if it sells. We have sold like a total of 13 pieces of furniture--gotta get rid of that bad number 13, so let's make it 14, shall we? It seems every day, something goes out the door. So today, we will be working on my little corner of the world.

Yep. My little corner in the 3 rd. bedroom.

Since we cleaned out the desk late yesterday, it's a mess in there. We also have to brave the extreme cold and run the cable box back to Empire Cable and get more boxes. No use in paying for extra tv cable. The tv and paintings and my diplomas will all come down today as will the drapes (there are mini blinds on the windows). My husband is really making progress in packing. I feel guilty as I have been working so much, but he said it keeps his mind busy and not wallowing in sadness (his words). He also said he feels that our son is pushing us to move on and get going. I have no doubt about that. On that note, our good friend Rick (my husband's USMC buddy) stopped by, and he wanted us to know that he "loved that kid and how he really enjoyed talking with him and misses him" (and that's a lot for a tough Marine to say, just saying). Yes, we have been hearing that a lot. A lot of folks have been saying such kind things about our son and how he was raised in a Christian home with manners etc. He better have manners (grin). Rick said, "Something tells me that kid is on the welcoming committee in Heaven." Yep...funny, we thought the same thing. Does Heaven have a welcoming committee? I don't know...but it sure would be nice if they did, right?  Isn't our God amazing? He sends subtle messages, whether it's true or just our brains, but it's still comforting. But our son was like that, very caring and concerned for others.

Well, not sure about taking over the world, but close, grin. Have a beautiful day friend(s). Thank you for your friendship.

Sunday Salon

Thank you all for the kind comments---the previous post is 'just a keeping it real'. I have fallen behind yet again in answering comments and emails...yesterday was a long day at work, today is only a 4-hr. day, thankfully.

Time: 6 am

Scene: 23 real feel is 14. With more snow on its way.

Drinking: My second cup of New England Breakfast coffee with Italian Sweet Cream.

What's for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner?

---breakfast just a Everything bagel with cream cheese.

---since I will be home from work at lunch--prob. just a sandwich or leftover Nachos.

---Dinner? I haven't a clue.

What's on tap for the day?

Working this morning

Hubby has been very busy packing up the house, purging etc. I am pleasantly surprised. I'm like, "You going somewhere?" He said, "Yep, I want out of this cold and snow. My bones can't take it anymore. I am so ready to embrace warm even hot humid sticky weather and walk around in Speedos all day." Ok then...grin---yeah get that latter part out of your heads, lol.

Pondering...something my one bil (one of my husbands brothers) said last night in reference to my husband calling him and asking why he hasn't called lately etc...they use to talk every Saturday. My bil, "Because I don't know what to say. My heart hurts for you. We loved Liam so much and we don't want to cause you anymore pain." Avoiding us won't work. Just saying. PFF--boy did my husband give him a strong lecture. They were babysitting their 6 yr old granddaughter and she got on the phone ---such a blessing...she said in that little girl voice, "I'm sorry Uncle David, I miss that boy with the dark hair. But I know he is in Heaven, wherever that is." awwww---she called our son that boy, lol. He would get a kick out of that, no matter how many times he would correct her. LOL---such sweet memories.

P.S. AND IT'S OK. That bought so much happiness to our hearts.

#2. A customer (one of our regulars) walked by yesterday and goes, "Happy Easter Ms. Linda." I burst out laughing. She winked. Huhhuh...I got y'all's number. smiles---

I hope you have a beautiful day, friends.

It's all Theatre...

I should get an Academy Award...as it's all been theatre...I am talking about grief and if I were to be perfectly honest, no, I am not ok-at times.

Just keeping it real. I was reading my good friends Barbara's blog this morning. And boy, does she speak the 100% truth about grieving and going on with one's life. ANYWAYS, back to my reality...it's all been this kabuki theatre. "Put on this happy face every single day"--well, what if I don't want to put on that happy face? Life in general is not fair, is it? From this to that; government, death, taxes and so on. I have no idea where I am going with this. Hopefully I will look back on this next year and go, WOW what a blubbering sissy. Oh, not every day is bad or worth crying over. Take last night for instance, I burst out laughing over that stupid tv show Big Bang Theory. My husband starred at me and went, "Oh, I bet that felt good, huh? That was a deep belly laugh, it's nice to hear you laughing again." Oops, I am not supposed to laugh, right? I know our son wouldn't want us to be so sad, but there it is...extreme sadness. NOT anger, just sadness.

God's love and grace has been amazing through this journey--has it only been a month? really? It seems a lifetime. Just keeping it real. Well, friends...like my good friend Barbara as expressed, adventure begins. The owner of a local 'redo' furniture store saw my for-sale ad on FB and she will be by this morning to pick up some furniture. That will make a total of what 12 pieces now? All this money and no place to go--meaning I better get going and find a place to live/ rent in FL and oh, I might want to start putting in job applications. No word yet on the mortgage etc. Yikes, have you seen the prices out there? I guess it's time to call in favors and reinforcements. None the less...

adventure awaits us. It is kind of scary, truly it is, especially at our age. We're not spring chickens anymore--the get up and just go has left long time ago. Folks keep saying, "Oh you're so brave and strong." Really? Hmm...let me reflect on that for a bit. I really need to step off this soap box of self-pity.

Hodgepodging...

Hodgepodging through...thank you all for the kind comments yesterday. We were so busy I didn't have time to answer each one.

1. It's National Popcorn Day-my favorite! Are you a fan? Sweet or salty?

I like both. It just depends

A good or great movie you've seen recently (at home or in a theater, either one)?

I haven't watched any movies either at home or in a theater. However, I have been enjoying the New Magnolia Channel.

2. What's something you didn't realize was going to take so much of your time as an adult?

Work/having a job? (Being sarcastic)

3. Your favorite yellow something?

Can you believe I own nothing yellow? I simply can't wear the color or even have it in my home...but I would say

4. Why do you write?

That is the million-dollar question, isn't it? Why I write? I don't know.

5. Share a favorite memory associated with snow.

I'm too lazy to go through my files for the photo, but the time I went skiing in Vermont. Awesome.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

How about some random thoughts?

Well, that makes a total of 9 big pieces of furniture out the door/sold. Yesterday I sold one of my china cabinets (I have 2 since we only have 4 kitchen cabinets-I was using it as a pantry) and porcelain kitchen table. Ok, husband, what's next? grin. He said, "Your one selling machine in 48 hours you have sold 9 items!" Nah... we're not making a killing, but the money does add up. It's nothing compared to the fact he sold his motorcycle and our sons' car.

We were so busy yesterday...one of the places we stopped at (my mil NEEDED a recliner and demanded a certain color, nope, she got what was available) yesterday was a small local furniture store. The owner's daughter is a very nice person and sort of knew our son. Very thoughtful and kind comments and sincere condolences about our son. ANYWAYS, no mask required, they are done with the mandates. What is coming down the pike in that regards, (required vaxx mandates to shop etc. here in this small town) is a very real thing.

BTW, it takes 6-9 months to get a new piece of furniture here. The supply chain issues are real. As is empty shelves. OH, and forget it, you won't be getting anything colorful either. All there is brown and dark colors for Funiture. Yep. Living in very dark times, my friends.

--as for that above, my husband is looking by the end of Feb. to be outta' here. We prob. will have to rent for a while as we have heard nothing on the mortgage application etc. Like I told him, "ITS GOING TO BE OK."

I have to work today. Have a beautiful day.

Tuesday Meme

Joining in with the Tuesday Meme.

Where would you go? Where do you want to go?

1. Is the farm for you? How about a ranch, a village or a city? Which is your choice and why?

Well, we are heading to Palm Coast, FL. Inland about 6 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. I told our son when he was still alive you know where to find me in my old age, by the beach. And when he passed away last month, my husband said, "Linda, we need to move and it's time for you to go home." It just wasn't because of our son's death, no...it's a combination of things. We were looking to escape NY beforehand. Now, we are going to make that thought of coastal living a possibility. I would prefer a small farm, but nope, I believe we are embracing coastal living.

2. A short auto trip for the weekend with friends or a long vacation? Where would you go?

Why can't I do both? And since we are going to embrace coastal living, how about a long vacation" Although, I will be working and not retiring yet.

3. The quiet life at home with a cuppa and TV or a good book or a night out with friends? Which sounds good today?

A nice cuppa with a good book and tv. There is so much snow outside, however, we do have to dig out the car and get going today-we have things to do.

4. You have a choice of dinner and a movie or a game of cards and snacks at the neighbors. Where are you going tonight?

Dinner and a movie sound nice. Our neighbors aren't very neighborly. Folks are avoiding us like the plague. I get it---they don't know what to say in regard to seeing our son being carried out in a body bag---well--hate to say it like that-but that is what we are told. Hence, why I have no regrets really about, selling/purging, moving. I have had enough of the so-called Christians who decided to gossip behind our backs--oh yeah--we have heard the rumors and it has hurt us to the core.

Beautiful Palm Coast, FL

Yesterday was a good day. We have now sold 6 big pieces of furniture, we had folks coming and going all day yesterday and the neighbors were really gossiping--you should have seen them; Like birds with their necks out. The chair and ottomans were also picked up yesterday. Getting close to the final goal---actually the financial goal was met--just needing to thin out more, so the moving truck won't be so expensive.

Have a beautiful day folks. We have to get the car dug out and head out and about today.

Monday, January 17, 2022

This and That...

Good morning from a very frigid north. We woke up to this

nearly 2 feet of the white stuff. I will be so happy to leave this behind for the ocean and sand. However, we all know I will be complaining about the heat and humidity, lol. It's time to make changes...speaking of changes. It seems my 2022 verse is really becoming quite something to reckon with (not sure if that is the correct word or not)...

I have been listing items on our local flea market and folks are buying it up.

Weather permitting today, a couple will come over and pick up the chair and 2 ottomans. I had listed a couple of weeks ago.

Hey, we were going to give it another week and then it was going to the thrift store. This will be the fourth large item we have sold. My husband said, "Linda, I am telling you the truth, God is telling us to get going." He/the husband wants to know if I am ok with selling all this "stuff"--I'm like, umm...yeah. It's just stuff we don't need etc. More furniture will be listed today. The house is sort of looking bare now. ANYWAYS, back to more goodness.

The other day I came home from work and hubby told me there was a tiny package waiting for me. Precious Cindy sent this lovely bracelet and the sweetest note. Bless her...I cried and cried...thank you sweet friend. Thank you for continuing to pray for us, I have to tell you, we can feel the love.

I spoke to my mom last night, thought my dad was supposed to have his hip replaced today, he has put it off. He had cataract surgery before Christmas, and he is not doing good. Well, the one eye isn't. Anyways, she was asking how we were doing...and said something (corrected herself) and you know, its ok. I really don't think folks in general know what to say in regard to the loss of a loved one, especially a child (well, you know what I mean even though our son wasn't a 'child') and I told her that. We are taking it day by day, period. There is nothing anyone can say or do, just keep us in prayer.

Yes, indeed...hope each of you have a beautiful day.

Sunday Salon

Oops...sorry about that...been working these past 5 days and forgot to post.

Time: 4 p.m.

Scene: 26*, real feel is 13. Expecting a major snowstorm to hit with upwards of 50-mile winds and 12-16 inches of snow. Hey folks, its Western NY, OF COURSE WE GET THAT MUCH SNOW (folks have lost their collective minds).

Drinking: Nothing, I am thinking of putting on a fresh pot of coffee.

Pondering: Oh, several things

---Work has decided to go against the Supreme Court ruling. Looks like I won't have a job come mid Feb. They have decided to follow the NYC guidelines (umm, we are 6 hours west of the City)-NYC demands vax passports to enter a store, rest. etc.

---One can collect unemployment though. So that is good.

---So, moving will probably be sooner than later.

---sold my mil's car (well, my/our son had it). No use for it now. Mil and her husband don't have licenses. The nursing company that comes in their home provides transportation to her/their doctors. We already have their groceries delivered.

---about a lovely gift I received from Cindy. I will show that tomorrow.

What's for dinner? My husband will make Macaroni, Tomatoes and Hamburger. Don't ask, it's the poor man's chili without the beans, LOL. Every once in a while, he wants simple food. Yesterday when I got home from work, he had made baked chicken in gravy, mashed potatoes and cornbread. It was really good.

What's on Tap? Nothing. I'm getting caught up on the blog/s, and he is watching tv. I have tomorrow and Tuesday off. Thankfully, as the snow will close a lot of businesses. Our town already sent a message out that the roads are closed after 9pm tonight to noon tomorrow and no parking on the streets.

Wednesday, January 12, 2022

...and so it begins

...and so, it begins...I NEVER check the job news on my days off. It was probably for the best anyway. Yesterday there was a memo posted online that all of us have to turn in vaccination status by the end of January and be vaccinated by Feb. 9 and that they would not honor any court decision and instead will honor the current mandate set forth by NYC and the governor. WOW. Knew it was coming, but to see it in writing...wow. There are NO OPT out options.

So, 1. I was wondering, are we living in America? It looks like moving will happen sooner than later. 2. So, my next question is, what happens to us folks who cannot take the vaccines due to severe allergies? Just wondering...I see why folks are leaving the blue states in droves.

Tuesday Mystery Meme

Apologies for not commenting on your comments yesterday. We were out and about, and it was not a good day emotionally. Grief happens that way, or as my good friend Barbara pointed out "triggers". Indeed, we had a big trigger yesterday. AND ITS OK.

Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 where we try to give you topics to discuss each week. Hopefully it helps with your blogging, gives a bit of fun and helps you meet new friends.

This week we are talking about true crime and mystery.  I think this week's question might need some thinking cap time!

1. Was there a notorious crime in the news that caught your attention or interest? Did you follow that case to its conclusion?  If there was no solution, do you pay attention to news about the case long after? (For instance, the Lindbergh kidnapping case... Patty Hearst, etc., )

The Ted Bundy case all those years ago. I was a girl growing up in central Florida. And here was a sociopath on the run. My dad had many talks about being aware of your surroundings etc.

2.Does the mystery genre of literature and movies interest you?  Does anyone book, series or movie stand out for you?

I really love Agatha Christie books. I also have been reading the cozy mysteries and I am on book 2 of the Vickie Delany Tea by the Sea series.

3.  Ever play Clue or any one of the new mystery games available?  Do you enjoy solving mysteries or puzzles?

Yes, and yes...it's been a long time since we have played.

4. Some towns are known for mysteries that took place there. Do you have something like that in your town or state?  If not... how about telling us about something that has always puzzled you!

No mysteries here in our town. I will say many of the homes here are old and still have soot in their basements from when the trains use to run through here. Not anymore (the trains). Hornell has been dead for years. Maybe that subject is a mystery to me...how can mayors and such allow a town to die? One thing, if we have to have medical needs above a band aid, you have to drive to Rochester or Buffalo and that's 80 miles either or. That is a huge financial burden. Same with shopping etc. We used to think that was cool--now, not so much. The former governor Cuomo calls us 'cow people'. We have dairy farms out here.

yep, and soon...and soon we will have to get use to the heat and humidity once again. I for one, am looking forward to it. Back to work tomorrow. Although, he/the boss called and left a message yesterday asking did I want to pick up some hours (and no, that would make 11 days straight of working), I did NOT go in.

Sunday Stealing on a Monday

I am off today and tomorrow. Hubby has gone to get propane and to the bank. Propane is for the enclosed/covered back porch; it is currently 16* and real feel is 7. We have a fridge out there, I told him to unplug its cold enough to keep the items cold. But...nope...anyways...he is deeply troubled by some things that are going on with his mother...see below.

On a Monday. I forgot about the Sunday Stealing Meme yesterday.

1.  What was the warmest welcome you’ve ever received?

Hmm...can't think of just one thing...but my husband's best buddy from childhood whom we haven't seen in 10 yrs. from Florida told us to get our things (he didn't say things, grin) and get down there and we can live in the RV until things/the housing situation get sorted out. That my friends, is unconditional friendship/love.

2.  What was the best thing about your youth?

Prob. the very fact we stayed out into the streetlights came on. You know what I am talking about, grin.

3.  Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met.

I met the late great soccer player Pele. My late grandfather knew him and since my grandfather was a Teamster, I also met some very powerful men who were in the criminal field element. (grin)

4.  What is the least you’ve ever worn in public?

Shorts, tank and flip flops. You will never see me in public 1/2 naked like some girls/women are with their stuff all hanging out (gosh, are you laughing now? grin).

5. What was the worst vacation you ever took?

I/we have never taken a bad vacation.

6.  What room in your home do you spend the most time?

Here in the 3rd bedroom where my laptop and desk are. It's the 2nd warmest room in the house. Our late son's room is the warmest, but since we all know I cannot go in there yet...I shall remain in here.

7.  Who made the strongest first impression on you?

Wow...I rightly don't know the answer to this one. Since we have been discussing the WORD (AKA Bible)--I have to probably say the teachings of our Lord and Savior. Very powerful.

8.  What was the most surprising action you’ve ever taken.

Sigh...prb. more than I count. AND the majority of those actions were not in God's word. Just saying.

9.  When was your life most out of control?

Prior to accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior

10.  What would you be best at, were you to change careers?

Working in a museum doing research or even in an Antique store.

11.  What is the cruelest thing a person has ever said to you?

My mil recently...she said to get over Liam's death as it's been 4 weeks. We are having a hard time with her. Most of you know we have court conservatorship. Her mental illness and dementia are just really getting the best of us right now. She knows we are moving, and she is just being so difficult and mean--truthfully, she always has. How can we honor and obey when folks are so evil? Just struggling/keeping it real.

12.  What is the best thing you ever won as a prize?

Hmm...can't think of anything.

13. What is your strongest argument against capital punishment?

I will skip over this.

14.  What have you been most ignorant about in life?

Christ's teachings

15.Where would you most hate to be pierced?

Yeahhhhhhhhh...private parts. LOL

Just keeping it real. Try not to overthink things and Pray about it. Each of us have things going on in our lives, just Pray about it. Have a beautiful day folks.

Sunday Salon

 An early start here.

Time: 6 am

Scene: 34* but real feel is 25* and pouring rain. Yep, so that means the drive to work will be nasty. We're under a winter weather advisory.

Drinking: My first cup of Breakfast coffee with Italian Cream. I ran out of Finger Lakes and Godiva, I am just done with everything NY--ANYWAYS, Bought New England Breakfast. I am saving the Cinnamon for Florida (wink to Sparky).

What's on Tap for the Day? Working 9-1. Then we will head over to the Italian Villa for dinner (we have a gift card to use)

Pondering...not much. We both slept really good last night.

--we are discussing the big move

--I am not there yet in just picking up and going and living in a friend's RV and dropping our stuff off (hubby said I will be on Feb. 9 when the vaccination mandates take affect here in NY). Our lease is up on March 1 for this apartment/house we currently live in.

--Said it before...I am just done with NY and all this craziness in regard to mandates.

--we took a much-needed break yesterday from purging and packing. We both were lazy couch potatoes....in my case, chair potato, grin. Oh no, wait...I did take all the metal signs down in the kitchen...now the kitchen is bare. I haven't taken a photo of the naked kitchen yet.
