Good morning. I hope this post finds each of you in great spirits.
So, I also did a "thing". After a few test drives of various vehicles, including a brand-new Ford Bronco and Mavrick which I loved...I traded in my Surfer Girl 2017 Hyundai Tucson aka "BeeBee".
To a beautiful Sage Green 2023 Santa Cruz. Sage Green isn't as fancy of a name as Surfer Girl--but she is a beauty.
Unnamed as of yet. It only has 24,000 miles and still has the full warranty.
And I absolutely adore this vehicle/truck. I immediately took it over to show my dad because he wants one and we took a drive around the neighborhood. I really had no plans whatsoever to trade, none...Why the trade in? Well, I always wanted a Santa Cruz, and my car was starting to have some issues like the AC was coming and going--the payment isn't much more than I was paying etc.
Ugh, it sure is...and I am not looking forward to this week at all. Back to 7-3 and in Alpha cell block and all the drama that brings. That is all I have for this Sunday morning, which is probably more than enough talk. Wishing you all a beautiful day.

And I will pray for you as you are back to the 7-3 routine in the cell block...I know God is with you and He will keep you safe all the while. And it should be nice to get home earlier, because next week we will be off Daylight Savings Time and it will be getting dark a lot earlier. So in the long run, it's a blessing. Better get to bed early tonight, however! LOL. (((hugs)))

ReplyDeleteThat's definitley not my kind of vehicle but i LOVE sage green. That's awesome. I just picked up my brand new as in a 2025 Kia Soul in grey. His name is Shadow. (yes i'm weird...i name my plants and my cars, not my kayak or bike though ha!). I LOVE LOVE LOVE it but i seriously need to read through the manuel and learn all the digital stuff. We are selling my honda civic which is a 2015 and only has 78,000 miles on it, super cheap to a young couple who have a 3 yr old and they are carless and really need a car. they pick it up next week. It's a blessing to be able to practically give them my honda. Now i have a car payment but i'll pay it off quickly with some money i have saved. This is only the 2nd time in my entire life i've had a brand new car!! i usualy buy clunkers. hahaha
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new vehicle.. It is usually best to go ahead and trade when small issue start going wrong. I read an article not long ago about people naming their cars. A huge number of folks do this. How neat. Have a blessed week..
