No, freedom certainly isn't free, so many gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we enjoy today. May our hearts always be grateful. To my mother's first cousin, Jack, who went down with his ship during WWII, thank you.

No, freedom is never free. But it is not always paid for with loss of people or people damaged for their whole life. Freedom in every day life should cost too... taking into account the freedom of others. People often forget that. They feel free to express their opinions, but at the same time they can limit the lives of others with the realisation of those opinions.
