Good morning from a true swampy Florida as it rained for a good 6 hours last night until about midnight but thunder stormed, wow. ANYWAYS...Wanted to share something I saw over at Billie Jo's lovely little blog.
LOLOLOL I about spat out of my coffee this morning as I was laughing so hard. A coworker was outside just hamming it up in the sun saying stupid things such as, "Oh isn't this lovely?" LOVELY? ITS A 100* HUMIDITY. As a matter of fact, I did call her cuckoo for cocoa puffs...if you like this sort of thing, most definitely a freak. You can't tell me you're not sweating like a pig. 😁😉
I wish I would have taken a photo of Lily last night...during the thundering and lightening she was looking at me like above, "So, are you going to do anything about this?" She is so funny. German Shepherds are known for not liking thundering and lightening and she is definitely one of those.
Wishing you all a beautiful day.

It's the humidity! I can't stand it. Hope you're keeping cool this week :)
ReplyDeleteI always said I'm too much of a wimp to live in Florida!
ReplyDeleteMax, our chocolate lab isn't a fan of thunder/lightning either. He usually hides out in the guest bathroom. Thanks for sharing Billie Jo's graphic. So true in my book! I am definitely not a fan of the heat or the humidity. Happy Thursday, Linda!
ReplyDeleteGosh, we got nothing last night but it is predicted for today through Sunday! I hope so because we need it so badly! Stay safe up there in Ocala!! xo
ReplyDeleteMay you enjoy a wonderful day, too, Linda. Hang in there - it's almost Friday!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm laughing!!! Some people just like to sweat, NOT ME!! Have a great day and stay indoors with the A/C.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you~~100 is WAY TOO HOT. (I'm from upstate NY but I live in Texas because my daughter married a guy who lived here and they started a family and I wanted to be near her. At least our humidity isn't too bad. I'm seriously thinking of moving near the Knoxville, TN area, but I just moved into a cheaper apt and have to be here one more year at least. ReplyDeleteWe are finally getting some of this rain...and yes, it rained here last night with thunder and lightning too. I was worried about Blackie, but he was asleep on the back porch. He's used to living in "the wild". But yes, the humidity is too much...anyone who likes this is crazy. LOL. But I do love the rain. Because we need it SO much. I hope you have a lovely rest of the week...I guess tomorrow is Friday already...how'd that happen????
ReplyDelete100% to that first meme ... and anyone who actually likes Alabama summer!
ReplyDeleteyou made me laugh. Good luck with that swamp like feeling. Up here it's glorious!!! 60 and sunny with perfect blue skies.
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH the german shepherd my sister Hope used to have (maggie) would cry and run and hide under the bed during a storm. it was the funniest thing. Big dog and scary and so protective of my sis but as soon as it thundered, off she'd go!!
Thunder and lightning are wonderful when we are at home and don't need to leave for any reason. Yes, we've had some of that on my side of town, too.
