Good morning, not as cold as it has been. We are expecting temps back into the 80's for the weekend and then the bottom drops out Monday, yet again.
Yep, Friday Jr. The procedure yesterday went fine. This morning, we have to head down to Leesburg (30 miles south--51 min.) for his eye...I am hoping and praying they will do the procedure today and not have to drive back. We both are feeling/find out the older we get the more we don't really want to drive far/anywhere.
Currently...
Weather-53* with showers in the vicinity. High of 77* today.
Thinking-
Once the body gets cold, it stays cold. Even though it was pretty warm outside yesterday, it was super cold in the Endoscopy Center.
Hey, so glad I don't live up north anymore, I see what's coming for you those that live above Georgia. Yikes. Buckle up. The snow won't affect us here in Florida, but the temps will. Double yikes, it's going to get cold.
Making me laugh-
True dat. 🤣
Grateful-for many things...to many to name.
Well, friends, thank you so much for the kind comments and prayers...I will keep y'all posted about today. Have a lovely day.

Yep, we are about to get hit with about 8 to 10 inches of snow in Missouri. And super cold temps. Great weekend to stay inside. I have already told my boss I won't be at work on Monday... Maybe even Tuesday. LOL! Glad things went well with the endoscopy. Hopefully they get his eye fixed today! I don't like to drive very much anymore either. Happy Friday JR! :)
ReplyDeletePraying all goes well at the retina specialist today. So glad yesterday's procedure went well. I wish it would rain today, but it's not in our forecast here. The weather has definitely been confused lately. I'm just thankful we don't live further north right now too! Wowza! They are really in for a mess!!! Praying for a lot of people we know throughout that region. Drive safely today...there's lots of crazy snowbirds on the road down your way...especially The Villages! Leesburg is getting closer to my old stomping grounds (Tavares). It all used to be quiet and peaceful, but now there's just too many people there. They are starting to creep up here too, but we keep shooing them away. LOL. Be careful and take your time. Hey, at least you got two days off in a row. Look at the bright side! LOL. (((HUGS))) for you and Dave too.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they keep those medical places to cold? I always freeze in them too.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well today!
Glad the procedure went well yesterday! Continued prayers for Dave's healing from yesterday and praying for today's specialist visit for his eye. I saw that groundhog graphic last night and it made me laugh again this morning. Thinking of you both.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about these commutes. They are tiresome. Wear me slap out. Prayers for you both. Love ya. ❤️🙏🏻
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well today :))
ReplyDeletePraying for a successful eye surgery!
ReplyDeleteYes, Linda, we're in for a whopper up here it looks like. Hope all went well with the procedure!
ReplyDeleteSo glad the first procedure went well. I hope all goes well with the eye procedure too. The big storm isn't affecting us out here in Utah either. We are having the driest winter on record. Take care, my friend. Prayers from Utah. ~ Deb Jones

We're the same way about driving ... if it takes more than 15 minutes to get somewhere. Such first-world problems, lol!
ReplyDeleteGlad and thankful the esophageal matter went well. Praying the same for Dave's eyes. Thanks for the update! Be of good courage, the Lord is with you!
ReplyDeleteMedical procedure rooms are always so cold!! Maybe it keeps the doctors and nurses awake?! LOL I'm catching up. Glad to read your post on Sunday! xo
