Currently I am on ...
Weather...60* mostly cloudy. 100% humidity, 58* dewpoint. We did have to flip from the heat to the ac yesterday. It was pretty humid out and it did rain later in the day.
Watched...we got home from the grocery store yesterday and watched x number of hours of Antique Roadshow.
Listening to...hubby going thru drawers trying to find all the paperwork I need to do Taxes. NOT that I want to do the taxes mind you.
Thinking...
--what I will take out and wear this week for work. I always try to get it ready for the week, and dress accordingly to the weather. Looks to be in the mid 80's this week--after the rain tomorrow.
---thinking I am not cut out for this spring forward nonsense. It's for the birds. lol
--hubby wants Goulash for dinner, so Goulash it will be.
--trying to set my sound machine time clock is for the birds too.
Feeling...ok, tired and achy feet. It is what it is.
Did you know?
Just random things floating from the old brain. I might have said this before.
Florida has the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright structures
Biscayne National Park's highest elevation point is only 9 feet.
Florida has the only coral barrier reef in the continental US.
Bayshore Blvd. is the longest continual sidewalk in the world
Florida spends millions of dollars every year to import sand from the Caribbean.
Florida's state motto is "In God We Trust".

Good Morning Just Linda. Our weather is kinda chilly this morning. Our taxes are DONE...thank goodness. Our accountant does not play around. He wants me to have everything ready for him by the middle of Feb. And I will have to say that Goulash is one of my families favorite meals. sounds good on a chilly day like today... Wishing you the very best for this coming up week.. Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day in your 76 degree Florida :)
ReplyDeleteYears ago I used to live on Bayshore Rd but here in the Bay Area. lol. I hope you have a safe and productive week!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of this time change. My sleep habits are already a mess and with it staying lighter longer, they become more of a mess. Happy Sunday, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Antique Roadshow for a while, will have to look it up.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get near 60 this week - hooray!
We did taxes last week, glad to have it done and at least we don't have to pay this year. Not getting much back, but we had to pay the last few years and that stinks.
Florida imports sand? Mind blown!
Have a good week my friend!
Hi Linda. I hope you have a good week. I don't like changing times twice a year either. It takes literally weeks for my body to readjust. I hope things go well for you. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteFun factoids! Your new background makes me smile ... and long for a peep (or several). Wishing you sound sleep and safe commute tomorrow.
ReplyDeletethe last comic made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI actually knew that about the coral reef in Florida but only because i have a friend whose mom retired years ago and moved down there and when she came for a visit she told us that!!
happy sunday!!
Happy Sunday sweet lady. Taxes done on Friday. Glad that is one thing marked off my list of things to do. Time change? Well, we do like the extra day light in the afternoons as at least it's not dark when Marty gets home from work. His commute and hours daily are long. Weather here today is a little cool and very windy. I can hear it howling. We've had some rain and not as much as we thought we would get today. I am enjoying chilling this afternoon. Happy New Week to you. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteTwelve of those FLW buildings are right here in Lakeland! When you come for Mayfaire, we will see them too. Yay! My AC has been on, but I think the heat will be needed for tonight. It's that time of year in Florida!
ReplyDeleteHello! Love your look around here, my friend! I am always confused with the time change for at least a week! Have a good week, and I'll be over for some goulash!
ReplyDeleteI would love to tour all of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes. I love that particular style. Hope this next week is a good one. And yes, get those taxes done! Ugh. 😑
ReplyDeleteGoulash sounds great. Some weirdos actually like changing time. I don''t. It is really worse for the body and mind than people realize. God made the standard time and we should not be fooling around with it. Have a good week without drama or anything like that. Just a nice week overall. Hugs
