Monday Thoughts...

Ok, such a humdrum life I lead thanks to the virus and the mandated shutdowns or 25% capacity. Nothing to say, so I will link back to Stacy.

Currently...67*, not suppose to be as hot and humid today, someone forgot to tell Mother nature that. I let the dog out and its pea soup and looks like it wants to rain.

Feeling...I was suppose to go get blood work and the second antibody test this morning--but nah, another day. No appointment, just have to get it done. Plus, the cars are still blocked in (have to keep the cars off the street on Sundays).

Reading...A Letter from a Stranger by Barbara Taylor Bradford

Listening too...the ac's kicked on and my husband is talking about how the Dairy Farmers of America are selling to China while crushing the little guy/mom/pop.

On the to do list...I didn't get any dusting done Friday, so maybe that or not.

Grateful...made a trip to Geneseo yesterday to the Big Thrift store and to Super Walmart, found ammo and after a quick background check, bought some, then stopped at the thrift store found a few items, more on that later. Turned around and headed home in the pouring rain. Soon as we got to the Stonybrook Gorge, the rain stopped. I guess the rain couldn't make it over the mountain, lol.

Making me laugh...

Hey, Antifa, this isn't Portland. The police saved your sorry rear ends.

and

Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger. Telling people to disavow the QANON'S. Hey, buddy, this is America, one can believe whatever they want.

P.S. Please excuse me, I am running behind in email, commenting and visiting your blogs.

  1. My life is pretty hum drum too even though I think MI is more open then NY right now. I'm thinking we may be mandated to closed down again though. I think Whitmer is pissed she didn't get the VP nomination!

  3. There's a background check on Ammo??!! That's shameful. But y'all know that ALL gun legislation is unconstitutional and immoral. I'm preachin' to the choir, I know.
It's gotten hot and humid today. We're supposed to have rain every day this week and next. Hope that's true.

  6. I'm surprised ANTIFA was stupid enough to travel to Sturgis. Our Wal-Mart is no longer selling ammo; caving to the liberal left.

  11. Why would they want to shut you all down again in the fall? Haven't they learned anything about how people are going crazy and need to be out and businesses are failing? I guess they don't care about the people, but they will say that is why they shut them down. Crazy. I am so sorry for you all up there. Glad you were able to get out and do some shopping. Sorry about the humidity. Down here it is pretty much a given. But fall is coming. One of these days!! Please take care of yourself. I am praying for you guys.

    1. don't know why they would...oh I know...deep down they will do everything they can to stop in person voting. That is the real crux.

  12. We bought some ammo over the weekend, too...on my birthday jaunt. It seems like it's getting hard to come by again so when we see it we buy a box of one kind or another since we need for 4 guns and while I use .357 hollow points in my revolver when I carry it, I practice with .38's and those are getting very hard to find around here. I don't use it much any more, it's so heavy. Mostly I carry my pretty little Sig 380. I used to BTB back in the day. I haven't picked up anything lately, though. Is she still writing new stuff? Hey, I'm proud of you...you went to the thrift store and Walmart and didn't get banned! LOL Hope you had a good day, Linda!
