Yep. Snow and its currently 18* (wind chill). All the flowers and bushes are dead. Frostbitten or whatever its called. That weather gadget is wrong. Just saying. Not 32* or going to be 40*.
It was supposed to drop into the 20's last night, but stayed in the 30's. No frost and no snow. So, yay, win! At least the sun is shining so I can pretend it's a lovely, warm Spring day.
Oh that's awful. Apparently, the entire world is mixed up. Obviously, New York doesn't know that it is nearly May. Hang tough. Will it even last the day? And those flowers could be tougher than one might think.
Oh, yuk. We didn't get the snow you did (although we got 3 inches on Friday night the other times it's been mostly flurries in the valley where we live). The magnolias were just starting to open up. Bet they got bit. That wind has been relentless. What a spring (or lack of it).
It was 85 here today and warming up to 96 on Friday. Not the normal, just a heatwave that is way to hot!!! I don't even know your cold. We freeze in the 50's!
I am so sorry for your freezing temps and the whole condition of your "state" there. Been praying for you to continue to have patience and to be strong in this battle. Praying that good things are right around the corner for you and your family. Keep the faith, girlfriend!!
Oh no, it is not supposed to snow, and ruin the flowers, etc. I need to send you some of our sunshine and 75 degree weather - quick! hehehe

ReplyDeleteIts been a very strange Spring here.... the blooms got "frosted" and looks like a week ahead of more or less rain.... brrrr... stay warm.

Oh my. And I got a sunburn sitting out in the yard on Tuesday. Today was mid-80s and no humidity. Beautiful. Just sayin...
