I forgot about yesterday being April 1.
We will be off shortly to Wilson's Beef Farm. Since meat is so scarce right now. We had forgotten about Wilson's and my husband called them yesterday and the lady was very nice and took an order for us.

This is the new normal at Walmart. Signs every 6 feet now reminding us of social distancing. Some hard decisions have to be made soon-before September when my student loan payments are due. My job perspective is on hold due to the virus, budget cuts and so on. I don't know where we will end up or what we will be doing...that is scary. We did sign a new 2 year lease prior to the virus hitting, however, she will let us out if my job falls through. As of right now, as it stands, Reality has hit hard like a ton of bricks.
I am thankful for a lot of things. Let's see;
Birds are just a chirping
Good health
saving money for the hard times (that have seemingly hit)
and...for each of you.
The whole no job thing and what will jobs be like when they do come back is, for sure, a pretty scary thing. I'm glad your landlady will work with you. We've found that all of our creditors have been very nice and helpful. We made a point of calling them all right away. The big hold up here is Unemployment. Tim is supposed to begin his bi-weekly sign ups this week, but we still don't have his pin number and there is no way to talk to a live person.

ReplyDeletePraying these issues will all be resolved in God's perfect timing. He knows your needs and He will take care of you. Don't worry or fret...it only causes harm. (Psalm 37:8) I just believe things will all come together when this is over. Stay focused on your goal of getting your work completed, and trust God to handle the rest. He will.

ReplyDeleteAre your loans from the government or are they private loans? The government will gladly give you a forbearance if you need one.
We are all in a state of flux right now, but eventually things will settle down.
Cuomo said today that there ar more cows than people in upstate New York ...
So glad your landlady is willing to work with you if need be. Hopefully, it won't be needed. Life is rather up in the air, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful to still be working. I'm off every other week but will be paid under a special COVID fund the hospital set up. My husband is also busy because he delivers food for Uber eats. Hoping this is all over soon and life can get back to normal!

ReplyDeleteI'm thankful my husband and I are both retired. He got out just in time. (Dec) Although, we weren't figuring on the whole world, "retiring" with us, we are thankful we are together through all of this.
It is troubling to have all these "What If's" hanging around. I keep praying for an end to the virus and end to the hysteria (the Governors are making it WORSE with all the lockdowns and such). Doesn't seem to be any choice other than prayer and waiting. I know y'all are doing the same.

I am supposed to retire later this month and my husband is already retired. We own our house outright. We are so much more fortunate than many. I was able to work from home although my employer is classed as essential. I am thankful every day when I wake up and find that I can breathe. I'm happy that your landlady is willing to work with you.
