My son finally figured out what I was doing wrong with my phone (it wasn't syncing)...anyways...these are last 2 photos I had taken of photos of what is on my nightstand...
All those years ago in Chattanooga. My husband and son (husband in blue and the little guy is our son)---gosh they were so brave, me not so much. When we lived in Alabama, we use to make a weekend run to Chattanooga.
He sure loved trains. That was right before we found out he had to have heart surgery. Anyways, all is well now. So many years ago...nearly 20 yrs now. I wonder where the years have gone...the big 55 is coming up in March for me. Makes me kind of sad.

Time flies doesn't it..... nice to have the pics... :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband loves trains! We keep talking about taking a little trip to Tennessee; unfort all that 'talk' is getting us no-where. (*sigh*) Aren't memories the best? Have a beautiful day!

ReplyDeleteYou're worrying about March 2022? Don't be afraid of growing older nor sad; the alternative is grim.
ReplyDeleteMy phone and iPad are not synching either. Always fun...
A good week to you!
What super pictures and the memories they hold. Have a great week, Linda!
ReplyDeleteSweet memories.
ReplyDeleteSo, you're almost exactly 10 years younger than me. Hey, you're still a kid. *lol* That's the same age as Steve's little sister (the one that is deathly ill). Y'all are so young. Guess I'm fortunate to have made it this far.
ReplyDeleteIt's really hot here. I'm praying it will rain this afternoon. It's dried out again. I love rainy days in the Summer.
Hope you're staying cool and having a good day at work.
Love & Blessings. xx
Love those precious memories. Thank you for sharing them with us. 55? You are still a child! Jeepers...I could almost be your mother, if I had been a bit naughty as a teenager. LOL. My oldest will be 50 this year, which is very hard for me to believe. I can't be that old. Anyway, you are on my heart and mind. I'm always praying for the right home and good answers for you. It will happen, in God's perfect time.
ReplyDeleteI've been to see the Chattanooga Choo-choo too!! Great photos, Linda! xo
ReplyDeleteCan you send Liam this way? My email hasn't been syncing with my phone for ages and I can't figure it out. Of course, I also don't remember my password. LOL
ReplyDeleteI was looking at old pics tonight and also feeling kind of sad. Time goes too quickly!
ReplyDeleteThese are cute pics though.
Yep. My Dad used to say, "The older you get, the faster it goes!" I didn't understand what he meant back then. Crystal clear to me now, as I approach 52.
ReplyDeleteI like birthdays that are duplicative digits, like 55. Somehow they seem extra special to me-- in a good way that is. I remember seeing the Chattanooga Choo-choo when I was a girl on vacation with my family. Hadn't thought of that in years.
ReplyDeleteI will be 58 in August. I normally don't let age bother me but for some reason I am struggling this year. Let's make a pact...10 years from now, lets laugh at how silly we were to be sad about being in our mid to late 50's! Smile, sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,
Pam
