Weather...at 9:25 am 81* real feel 91* mostly cloudy and under a flood watch until 8 pm Monday.
What did I/we do yesterday? Well, we had a little lull in the weather went to the store and got gas in my truck

Absolutely nothing. I need this guy Jonathan Knight (tv show Crashers) to come to our house and fix the backyard. lol---Yep, I sat all day on the couch and watched shows On Demand all day long.
Eating/Ate...what did we have?
1. Oh, we finally got Pub subs. I had a new sub called Deep fried Turkey with special 1320 Sauce...I wanted it exactly the way the photo showed it--and didn't get it that way.
2. Later on, late in the evening, I put in a Red Baron pizza in the oven.
3. What's for dinner tonight? I think, Beef tips and rice.
Thinking...
---I really need to get lesson plans finished for the week. I am seriously lacking in anything work related.
---I heard a nasty rumor Thursday we were not going to the state teacher schedule. I cannot get it confirmed or denied. On that note here is my thought (not that anyone cares), that burnout is real. Especially when you are teaching everyday single day 365 days especially in the environment we work in. Well, not 365 days but you get the point.
**I believe regular schools start back tomorrow.

How in the world does hubby wake up so happy and ready to just talk and talk? LOL
Enjoying...all this rain we have had. It's nice.

My husband wakes up just like your husband! He's learned though that I have little tolerance for talking until Ive had at least one cup of coffee!

Danny loves to talk, but he's very understanding about not bombarding me in the morning or when I'm working on a blog - LOL! He blames his Italian heritage. I really feel for you working where you do, Linda. It can't be easy in any way, shape or form. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteIt's fairly easy to wake up happy and full of talk when you don't have a stressful job to go to.. lol. Mine is a non talker until about 10:00 in the morning...he is not a morning person...I'm right the opposite..
ReplyDeleteI used to be the talky-talky person in the morning...I had to when the kids were at home bacause how else could I annoy teenagers even more than they already were? Really, though, I am not a talker...never have been. That doesn't stop me if something needs to be said. If you want something said that nobody wants to hear, I'm your gal! Other than that if everyone was quiet I would love it.

ReplyDeleteHahahaha on those memes you find! Thankfully, because of Tom's hearing loss he doesn't have to put up with my early morning chatter. Our pup, however, is always an appreciative listener. (Either that or she just wants a treat, lol.)

ReplyDeleteGood jokes at the end. I read them aloud to Gary. He's working a puzzle right now and was only half-listening. Well, you made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThankfully both John and I like to sip our tea/coffee and look at our computers while we do that first thing in the morning, and so we each go to our personal spaces and do that for about 45 minutes or so (after feeding Blackie first, of course). Then we sit together and read our devotions together, and then I fix breakfast and we watch the news, although that is not always the most pleasant thing to do first thing in the morning. LOL. I know you don't have time in the morning for all of that since you have to get up and get off to work. I remember those days quite well and am so thankful to now be retired and not have to rush off every day to a job that I really don't like. My job(s) was/were stressful, but not to the same degree that you have to endure every day. My hubby worked where you worked (or across the street) and fully understands what that was like. It's not easy being "incarcerated" for the day, but thankfully you get to "break free' and go home at the end of the day. Praying that things will work out for the best for you regarding the scheduling, etc. (((HUGS)))
