Currently...

Weather: 70* and balmy at 9 am. Summer is upon us here in Florida.

Health: It's ok...the humidity is affecting the joints/arthritis especially the feet. Praise the good Lord, no sicknesses to which seems to be going around...which brings me to the thought, peoples immunity abilities or lack of. I'll just leave it at that.

Reading: Bought a new book from Ollies yesterday
Watching: Still binge watching Midsomer Murders-starting Season 10 on Brit Tv.

Feeling: Not surprised by worldly stuff...we all know who wins in the end. I am just personally done with 1% 'ers of the world.

Thinking:

The rising costs of everything...sounding like a repeat parrot.

Happy to see the Univ. of Florida set parameters and rules for the protestors. While out yesterday we saw, on State Road 200 (Hospitality Road), there were protestors. Sad reality. Never thought I would live to see the day where our own government is anti Isarael.

Grateful: For a group of Christian women at work who aren't afraid of the 1% 'ers  and will pray and lay hands on you.

Making me laugh:

ha. Sometimes

Oh oh that's me. LOL

Every.single.day. It took me literally 7 hrs. to reply back to that email from a 1% er who is complaining / how offended she is about the daily Motivational Meetings --and she don't even attend them. I actually went to the department supervisor/duty warden, and she told me what to say. Because I really wanted to be rude and say what was on mind, but I figured I better be politically correct.

Have a great week everyone.

  1. Happy Sunday, Linda! I think the 1%ers should be shipped out. Buy them all one-way tickets if they don't appreciate this country of ours. And there, I said it. That last work graphic made me chuckle out loud. I worked with a few those the last year I taught. I hope you have a good day.

  3. It’s me again coming out from living under a rock - what does 1% er mean? I’ve always thought it meant outlaw bikers; Hells Angels and Gypsy Jokers etc. Words and Slang keep changing. All I know is these pro- terrorist groups need to go! I’m sick of them and their ilk.

  4. I am soooo done with those 1%-ers. Protestors, too. (Sheep). Keep being YOU and sleep with a clear conscience!

  5. Hi Linda. I agree that Florida is doing the right thing with the anti-Israel protests and protesters. Fortunately, we haven't had too much of that here in Utah - yet. As a Christian - I back Israel 100%. The Palestinians started the entire thing. You new book looks interesting. I haven't read anything by that author. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!

  6. A person who doesn't like the motivational moments has some issues! I hope she gets some proper "motivation" soon. LOL. The world is going nuts, esp. the college kids who are being brainwashed and propagandized from their own professors. But it starts even earlier than that. I saw a video of a drag queen reading to little children and telling them to chant 'free Palestine". This is outrageous on every level. But we are in the end times, so we shouldn't be so surprised. I just hoped we wouldn't be here to see it. Praying for our nation and our world, and praying for Jesus to come soon. Keep up the good work and the positive thoughts and encouraging words. Many people just don't know what they are missing.

  7. This is sure a world that I never expected to see. I'm proud to say that I'm one of the 1%ers who pray. Have a great rest of the weekend.

  8. Yep! I've worked with those same folks, too, Linda, and it is a real pain! I agree with Robin - any of these rabble rousers who are not official American citizens should have their visas revoked immediately. And don't think for a moment that we will pay your tuition to come here and complain about our values.
    'Nuff said!

  9. It is a very sad state of affairs for sure. You know I'm with you. It's so nice that you can have your motivational time in the mornings and that your co-workers (except for the 1%) are eager to participate. Keep praising God!! xo

  11. Well as Believers we KNOW that there was bound to be war with Palestine/Arabs vs the Jewish/Israel population, right?? i mean it's been prophecied for centuries!! so NO surprise that each side is protesting. Sad state of affairs but I firmly believe God knows what He is doing. I wake up every day and say MARANTHA!!! How i hope He returns in my life time....meanwhile.. i just try to represent Christ well and show love and grace (and sometimes mercy although that sure is hard isn't it??!!) to all.

here in upstate NY we haven't had the protesters about the war...but...when i was a little girl i remember my parents talking about the protesters of the vietnam war. If i had been a college kid at that time I probably would have protested too!!!

  12. Steve nailed it awhile ago when I was wondering why so many youngin's have gotten looney. Other than the jab bioweapon which is causing neurological disorders (there's a lot of that too) they've been trained to be Marxists since kindergarten. College isn't education any more they only make it worse. Our Society is doomed. I don't think there's ever any going back.
    Hope your week is easy.
    Love. 💙

  13. Have mercy! That’s hysterical that the person has never attended a meeting, yet is so offended. 🙄 Lawd, let me hold my tongue… 🫠

  14. Somebody complained about your motivational time? Geez. Please don't politicize it,though. I don't even know who the one percenters are, but I do know that no matter what you do there is someone who's not going to like it. That's just life. There is always somebody who's going to be offended, and that person can be anyplace on the political spectrum.

  15. Our world is insane! My husband said this morning the building management notified them that Pro-Palestinian protesters were outside their building. They want employees to be safe and stay inside. Of course, hardly anyone walks around in Denver downtown these days. Sad....please pray. I am not interested in pleasing anyone but God. I keep thinking I am going to look up into the sky one day and there will be Jesus. Such a glorious day that will be.

  16. So glad to know that you have co workers willing to stop and pray and yes girl, lay hands on you. Rare today it seems. Happy May dear Linda. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  17. Linda, I know what you mean! I never would have thought I would live in a country who has turned their back on Israel...or God for that matter! It's all coming true, isn't it? What the prophets and Jesus said...It's all coming true.

I am so glad I don't work anymore! I just am not a politically correct person and my mouth has no filter! I simply couldn't/wouldn't cater to whiney, offended brats.

You have a good rest of your week since I am just now reading this and it's a good three days after you posted it! Have a great weekend, as well!

    Grace & Peace,
    Pam
