Boy, this countdown was tough. I like all kinds of music (oh wait, the new country and rap, no thank you). I want to wish you and your families a very Happy Hanukkah and
One of my favorites is listed as number 2: The late great Judy Garland. I can't get through this without crying. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
AND my number 1? My late grandmothers favorite-Little Drummer Boy, another one I can't get through without crying. What is better than a boy who has nothing to give but playing his drum for our Lord and Savior.
May this Season bring you much peace, love and laughter.

Have YOURSELF a Merry Little Christmas now...we actually sang that at church Sunday night. We often do a little fun song in the middle of our regular worship/praise songs...and so with Christmas each week we have sung a favorite fun Christmas song too...Like Up on the Housetop, and Here Comes Santa Claus, and this week the one above. Just for fun. We have a great time and love being together. Praying your Christmas is beautiful, even if it isn't "white". Ours won't be white either, but with all the rain we've been having, it may be a little wet... God bless you all, and enjoy your special days together!!!
ReplyDeleteSame to you, Pamela...wishing you a very Merry Christmas. smiles
DeleteHave a wonderful Christmas Eve Linda.. :)
ReplyDeleteSame to you, dear friend. smiles
Delete...and how about Bing Crosby singing, "I'll Be Home For Christmas"...? I cannot NOT cry when I hear that one. I love your choices too. My least favorite: Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree. ugh. Have a good Christmas, enjoy the spring-like weather! It was gorgeous yesterday, too bad the Labradors get such muddy paws though.

Ugh, Della...I was so hoping for a white Christmas, smiles...I see New Years Eve week might just get interesting, smiles. HA! Our German Shepherd came in all muddy and nasty yesterday...sigh.
DeleteI agree with the Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, sigh. smiles
Have yourself a Merry Christmas. smiles
I love Judy Garland.
ReplyDeleteHave yourself a merry little Christmas, Linda
Her voice is so haunting. Same to you, smiles...wishing you a Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas too.
DeleteMerry Christmas! One of these is a dear favorite and the other not so much. All I know is that Alexa isn’t always cutting it with musical selections for Christmas. 😉
ReplyDeleteMerry On!
Those may be my two favorites, too. Love Meet Me in St. Louis. Yes, Pep is waiting/hoping for a car. I think he may just need to be content with his motorcycle. Merry Christmas from me, Pep and Nessie.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda - I like all these songs too, but the one that always, always brings tears to my eyes is O Holy Night. Love, love, love that one. Merry Christmas, my friend! Hugs from UT!
