So, all the computers in the house decided to download the latest updates...so...here we are, late on a Sunday. And please scroll to the bottom for a special message...
Stealing from Ann.
1. What don’t you share?
Chocolate. My son just came in to my little sanctuary (the 3rd bedroom) and decided to help himself to a Rocher. He quickly got smacked down. Just saying. 22 years on this Earth and you would think one would learn NOT to touch the special candy. LOL
2. A reason to celebrate?
Just about anything but especially good news, birthdays, anything special.
3. Describe where you are now.
My little sanctuary aka spare bedroom. It has a mission style/Stickley desk with a wingback chair, tv, desktop computer, a laptop, a single bed, the dog bed (lol), and it also is 'makeup' room and 3 lamps.
4. A dream that seems impossible.
Peace on Earth
5. Something you hope for.
Cure for various illnesses.
6. A tradition that makes you feel at home.
All we have ever had is each other...so, dinner with my husband and son at the family table.
7. The people who make your life better.
Husband, son, friends and at times strangers.
8. Someone you’d like to meet.
The good Lord when he is ready.
9. A silly thing you’d really like.
My own house with some land.
10. A book from your childhood
The Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series...I have no idea what happened to them.
11. Something you’re still not sure about.
People. I'll just leave it at that.
12. The best dessert to share with friends.
My mom's recipe for Chocolate Eclair
13. A story that captures your imagination.
The Hallmark Channel and the silly storylines.
14. Memories beside a fireplace.
When we spent the first 5 years of marriage in Hudson, NY and visiting the Red Lion Inn at Stockbridge, MA.
15. How do you spend a rainy day?
Usually in class...and on weekends, usually doing homework...and once that is done I like to just sit and stare out the window.
If you would like a snail mail Christmas card, please send me an email and I will gladly send one off to you.

Don’t mess with my chocolate either!
ReplyDeleteHow I second you on the wish for "cure for various diseases/conditions". May it be in our lifetimes.
ReplyDeleteI wish that I had some chocolate. I can’t believe that you don’t share. 😉
ReplyDeleteWe had chocolate éclair dessert today! Yum!
ReplyDeleteAt this time of year those Hallmark movies do seem to grab you...right there. Have a wonderful and blessed week, Linda! And tell that boy to keep his mitts off the chocolate!
ReplyDeleteI pray that someday you will have that home and land you dream of. Finish that degree, and maybe someday it will happen. Maybe someplace warmer? I love the sound of your little sanctuary room. I think we gals need that. That is where I am too. Chocolate? I wish I could eat it. I get sick when I do, so I have to be careful, but I do love it. It just doesn't love me. sigh. what's a girl to do? I'm eating an apple. That's what. Rainy days are good for reading, baking, or looking out the window at the rain. Yep. I get that. Have a blessed week. Be careful going to and fro.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a little farm someday. I took up your offer to send cards.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda. Interesting answers. I'm with you on not letting the son steal the candy! Some things are off limits! ;-) My card to you is ready to go. Will be mailed tomorrow. have a good week, my friend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week LInda.....
