What impresses you? Not much these days. Although I am somewhat impressed by the KC kicker who is not backtracking on his beliefs. It's refreshing to see a person who speaks of Faith and Jesus Christ. And I am sure his actions will have consequences. And what a sad world we live in where those actions will be harsh. But yet, the abortion loving person holding the highest office gets accolades.
What motivates you more-a reward or a consequence? Both. since I am employed in a consequence job, and hence forth why I won't answer the death penalty question, I would say that motivates me NOT to be like the women who are guests of the state and to which 2 are on death row. Your actions always have consequences.
May 14th is National Buttermilk Biscuit Day. Who thinks biscuits deserve their own day? Do you like biscuits? Yes Make your own? Not on your life. Grab one for breakfast at a drive-through now and then? Yes. Which drive-through makes the one you like best? Hardees What do you like to put on a biscuit? Butter and Jam or Orange Marmalade. What's your favorite food or dish that calls for buttermilk? Biscuits.
Thinking: Hubby is onto me about making the breakfast casserole, I suppose I ought to get around to do so.

He speech was given at a Catholic College and he expressed Christian views. Shouldn't be controversial at all. He is a courageous guy to stand up for his beliefs in today's increasingly Godless world. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!

Yes, it is the HOT season for sure. We didn't get any thunderstorms this morning, and I was awake and waiting for them. My phone said 4:00 a.m. they would be here. How dare they lie? LOL. I do make homemade biscuits, using Jiffy biscuit mix. LOL. I add extra butter to the batter, and I have to mix it up and cut them and bake them, so that is homemade. The other recipe I use buttermilk for is my mother's Orange Cookies, which I've shared many times before. Scott usually makes them now for family gatherings. it's a family tradition. I hope you are going to the beach soon? Take care my friend and enjoy the season as much as you can!

ReplyDeleteAlmost every time we do our weekly grocery shopping our standard fare is Jumbo Eggs, Half 'N Half, Heavy Cream, and Bacon. The freezer stays full of a local cattle companies beef and other products. They don't allow any chemicals into the cattle's food supply as it's all local. We will not "eet ze bugs" or any other WEF garbage.

I love how you cherry-pick these questions; I need to do the same instead of feeling obligated to answer them all. Hope your weather isn't too bad; last night's wind toppled trees here there and everywhere. Thank God, we hadn't any damage, but it's sobering what even a non-tornadic event can do.

ReplyDeleteDeath penalty... I used to believe in it...most ardently. But now...I think life with no parole is better...in a place that doesn't offer much...actually takes their freedoms.
All we have here is Goodwill and Salvation Army...

I too was impress by Butker's speech! He's a great guy. We are starting to warm up here in Missouri. I love the heat it's the humidity I can do without. I am motivated by consequences. I don't want them! period. Hope you have a great week!

ReplyDeleteI've been seeing on the Weather Channel about possible severe storms in Florida. I'm always checking because of grandchildren and my daughter and son in law living there. I enjoyed your answers. I suppose we have Goodwill stores where I am. I've just not found any. Here, they are KARM stores.
