Linking back to Stacy...
Currently
Scene: It's 7:30 am on a cloudy Saturday. Temps are back into the 60"s today with rain. The last few days have been near 80 and quite humid.
On the television: Nothing right now. Friday nights are reserved for Lottery Dream Homes (HGTV) and Maine Cabin (MAGNOLIA) reruns. Saturday usually Magnolia Channel and HGTV.
Reading: Nothing. Does blog prompts/ideas count?
Feeling: Tired...had to cover for folks this week. Several folks in the department are out with this new flu variant/respiratory ailment. Pretty much a ghost town around work...so I am hoping I don't catch it.
Thinking: How nice its Saturday
Hopeful: I don't have to cover for a coworker on Monday-the last few days have been dealing with satans spawns. Sorry, Lord...don't mean to call inmates/fellow human beings that. But the group I had to deal with, they have some real hardcore issues that required patience that I didn't know I had. One in particular who is 19 and has been sentenced to 47 years for murder to kill a 12-year-old-to which she did kill herself/not the hitman. She was something else, rolling eyes. I couldn't wait for her to leave my area. Such a foul mouth, foul ugly black heart person---her aura was just so black... I sometimes look at folks and wonder how in the world they became this way.
Loving: Coming home, period. This week has tried my patience like no other.
Looking forward to: Hmm...the weekend off? lol
I really don't have much to say, honest. I had a hard time coming up with this. LOL

Yes the bugs are flying around here in the Northeast.... so far so good for myself. Have a super weekend and get much needed rest.. :)
ReplyDeletePretty background, Linda! Enjoy your weekend at home.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda. I admire your patience. I can't imagine working with prisoners. The high school students I teach are bad enough and can drive me to the brink some days. I hope that you can relax and have a good weekend. See you again soon.
ReplyDeleteSending a big hug your way, Linda. Gosh, I'm sorry you are having to deal with people who can't crawl out of the hell they put themselves in. Relax and enjoy your weekend. xo
ReplyDeleteOh Linda - I can't imagine dealing with people like that.
ReplyDeleteHope you stay healthy!
Yes, dear one, reading blogs counts as reading. Their variety of topics and artwork are often a pleasant distraction when life has given us some tough days.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a restful and low stress weekend, stay healthy, and that your coworkers speedily recover! This reminds me of a friend of my daughter’s that I once met. She was in our home for lunch and I had a hard time seeing her face because there was like a spiritual darkness around her. She had a LOT of issues but I did want to meet her so I could be praying anyway for her and about the relationship she had with my daughter.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that person sounds so sad. She needs JESUS big time. She may even need someone to drive out the demons...Praying for you as you deal with these hardened and downright evil people. And yet, they are people that Jesus died for, if only they knew it...they could be set free from their own personal prisons that are binding them to such evil. May God keep His hedges of protection built high around you and not allow Satan to penetrate one single spot. May Jesus shine through you so that others will see Jesus living in you and want to know about the Light they see in you. Nothing is impossible with God...but always always stay within God's hedge of protection and may His angels have charge over you in every way, every day. Amen. I am glad you have the weekend off to rest, and am praying you don't get the bug that's floating around. Let us know the next time you want to take a little ride north to Interlachen to get out of the wild pace of Ocala. Love you and keeping you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteLawdy Linda, I wouldn't last a day in your workplace. Even when things aren't necessarily directed at me, I tend to take them personally. Ugh. I sure hope you don't catch that nasty flu(?) bug and get some well-deserved rest this weekend. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a really rough week. Hope the weekend is better and that next week is too.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry this week was extra difficult. I keep praying for ya. May the Holy Spirit give you comfort, peace and the rest you so desperately need. ((Big Hugs))
ReplyDeleteBTW, I don't now if you're on Twitter or not but I'm not there anymore. Too much "social" media is not healthy, me thinks.
Sending Love & Prayers xx
Better you than me, working in a prison. It takes a special person to be able to do that with grace.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I hope things get better for you at work. I pray you stay healthy too!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness! God must give you lots of patience and love and grace to deal with folks who have committed such crimes.
ReplyDeleteYou know some souls are so lost only Jesus can revive them. I received the jury summons as the rude and cruel Jury Commissioner lady is a real beast. I don't believe in the justice system anymore, Not after I saw what happened to my SIL Lucy, nearly dying and now being hassled for literally millions from all her medical bills when her ins. ran out. People who say it is your duty to go. Well, they can go in my place. I have sat there in past years wasting my day while these judges and lawyers dillydally and often give these people a walk! I am wearing my t shirt "NORMAL isn't coming back, JESUS is....if I have to go, I truly believe only those who voted against the disaster that America has become are being forced to go to jury duty repeatedly. I am over it and the rude employees at the courthouse especially the ones making faces at the poor suckers stuck with jury duty . Funny you never see any of them in these jury rooms. People who hold themselves in high regard over others are in for a shock when Jesus returns....
