I'll just lump this post in all together. Burn the photo...just saying...grief is really taking a toll my friends...Anyways, below is the photo from yesterday's meet up with Terri and Barbara.
Time: 7:25 am
Scene: Cloudy and 63*. It stormed last night, boy did it.
Today's Plan: I have to run back to Walmart and get a few things; lunch bag and some other items. Or maybe I won't and wait until tomorrow. I am pretty indecisive right now.
Drinking: My first up of Publix Breakfast coffee with Italian Creamer.
Listening to: Silence. Oh, the ceiling fan is on. Kim and I both got our coffees and gone back to our rooms. Our pets had to go out etc...so the house is peaceful, no guys around etc.
**Kim back in and showed me what she was going to fix for dinner if that was ok with me etc..

| took this off of the internet |
Watching: Nothing. I did stay up late (thanks to the storm) and get caught up on my YouTube videos; Sow this Land, Hollar Homestead and Bealtaine Cottage.
Random Thoughts:
 |
| l-r; Terri, Barbara and me. Great fellowship and meal. I had Chicken and Dumplings, Okra and Hashbrown Casserole. Terri had Chicken with Bacon (I think?) and Barbara had Fish? |
--Just burn the photo...I recognize the forms of grief...and some say depression. When I read that Naomi Judd had passed away (presumably suicide/some form of mental illness) ---I don't know her story, but grief is a real thing. There is no right or wrong way to it...NOT that I am there--where she was--nor will I be. I am just keeping it real. It helps to talk about it--losing someone you love.
--It also helps to be surrounded by loved ones and Godly women who take their time to drive an hour and half to just have lunch. Just saying, try it. Get out of ones comfort zone.
--Memories...I was absent from the WWW after getting back yesterday. WHY? I logged on and a IM message popped up from my late son from April 30, 2021, "HEY MOM, LOOK AT THIS! Pretty cool, huh?" I lost it. Literally. KEEPING IT REAL--and I don't believe in coincidences.
--Kim lost her sister around the same time we lost our son. She too is grieving. Again, keeping it real. Had a nice long chat last night from losing our loves ones to God...beautiful honestly.
--You know, being where I am right now is no accident. The good Lord puts us where we need to be, full stop, period. I'll leave that thought right there to ponder on.
---to answer I think Myra's Question-Yes, I do stay in touch with my former coworkers. They are on my FB page. grin
Bible Thought:
Trying not to dwell in grief...but sometimes, one has too. Just keeping it real. As for Naomi Judd, I will never know that kind of darkness and I pray her soul is now repaired. Again, just keeping it real.
P.S. HEY BLOGGER, WHAT'S UP? QUIT FOOLING AROUND! I am fully aware of missing comments and folks who can't comment, grr.....
