Friday Photos and Waiting...

***Updated at 3:35. well...got the call. Lost the house, it sold for over $30,000 asking price. Onwards Christian Soldier. smiles

So, we went and signed the papers for the house out in Canisteo. We decided to take a drive out there (5 miles) to make sure the driveway didn't wash out (and a thought, shouldn't it of been done before we signed? grin

It had temporarily stopped raining. Although, heavy down pours and humid weather were the norm for the day. The ac's are on here. It has turned darn right humid.

There she is sits in all her glory.

The driveway was fine, no wash out, did a 3.2 turn and headed back down the hill. Not sure about winter, when we have 10 feet of snow on the ground how that will be. BUT it all depends on whether or not we get the house.

I pointed out there was a small parking spot at the bottom of the stairs. Hubby thought that was funny, "You really going to walk up and down the stairs in the snow?" Yeah, not. LOL

So, now we wait. The offer went in at 8 last night (offers weren't being accepted until then). The 4th time has to be the charm, right? We lost 3 previous houses due to the over inflated market. I am not really holding much hope at this point, because of the previous 3, just keeping it real. Thank you all for the kind thoughts on yesterday's post. smiles

Thankful Thursday

Joining in on the Thankful Thursday...honestly, it feels like a Tuesday.
I had Orientation yesterday at my new job. It went well.

They told me to look in my bag. Beautiful and colorful new polo shirts. She said they picked the color to match my personality. HA, if I could squeal I would, but I thought I would act professional. Actually, I really am thrilled. Purple, pink and minty green are my favorites. I shall know in a day or two my schedule. I was suppose to know yesterday, but my mentor is on vacation. Yep, we get a mentor. For those who don't know, which I haven't really mentioned, I will be employed at the #3 fastest growing grocery market working in the warehouse. I am.perfectly.fine.with.that. Totally different than my former employer. I am actually excited and happy, unlike before where it was doom and gloom. 116 years of being in business; management and family/Ceo's etc. still come in and run the business like us ordinary folks. You just never know when Mr. W and his sisters will walk in, pick up whatever and help, which is frequent is my understanding. BTW, I met him when he came into WM. I knew right away who he was. Very nice fellow, down to Earth. I actually said, "So, checking out the competition, are we?" He said, "You know, you can come over to the good side if you want." Yep...that's when I 'knew', 30 or so days ago. {{grin}}--

The weather. Rain, rain, rain. I am so thankful for rain.

Thankful for each of you. Thank you for not judging me and the posts I post. Keeping it real is my motto in life.
