Hodgepodging through on a Wednesday...stay turned to the end for some exciting news.
2. Slow as molasses, icing on the cake, that's the way the cookie crumbles, have your cake and eat it too, half-baked idea, that takes the cake...which phrase might be applied to something in your life in recent days? Explain.
Probably all the above.
Slow as molasses; job market
Icing on the cake and that's the way the cookie crumbles; taking a job that is outside my major.
Have your cake and eat it too, half-baked idea, that takes the cake; again, the job market and the prospect of moving. Stay tuned to the end of this post.
3. Something that's 'easy as pie' for you to do?
Research. I could spend hours doing so.
4. Are you someone who likes to 'sugarcoat' news you think might not be well received, or are you more of a tell it like it is and let the chips fall where they may? Do you like to receive your news the same way you give it?
I am straight laced and prefer it that way. No sugarcoating from me. I have no idea how to be politically correct. I fully expect that from a person too.
5. Something you did recently that made you feel like a 'smart cookie'?
Probably taking a second job interview...see below
6. Insert your own random thought here.
"Smart Cookie" or probably mild panic. I got a call yesterday from the school system for a teaching assistant job interview on Thursday. Hubby is like, "So, what about your current job?" Mild panic. I could do both, days and then nights. He said, "No. I prefer you to take a job YOU want too and not waste your time doing something you hate or detest." It's only a interview. Who knows if we will be shut down again, and that is scary.
