Good Morning...

 

Good evening from Jacksonville. Yes, evening, I am writing this Tuesday evening.  I'm on the 8th and my coworker is on 3rd floor. And no, it's not cooler, it's windy because of the riverfront, but not cooler, sigh.

I also have a partial river view. Cool beans.

For whatever reason, the Hodgepodge is not posting right for me.

So, my room is nice...and hubby decided while I am gone...

just the primer folks.

He is painting the whole house. My mouth flew open when he sent me some photos. I'm like screeched, "Dude, you hate painting!" He said, "Well, you work hard and all day and it's not fair you have to do it, and I'm retired and I have nothing to do." He is a keeper folks...it went from just the kitchen to the whole house. THE WHOLE HOUSE. SIGH. At least he asked me what color and I said, "Color drench everything in white." He gave me a funny look, I said, "EVERYTHING WHITE, CABINETS, WALLS, WAINSCOTING."

So...I really needed a coffee and splurged and got a $5 Cafe Mocha when I went downstairs to get a sandwich. Bad, Linda bad.

All the hotel restaurants had waiting lines, so I just got a sandwich from the hotel market. Wishing you all a beautiful day.

Whew...just bumps

 Good morning, another warm hot one on tap and its thundering at 6:15 am.

So, my laptop up and died to wherever laptops go on Sunday. Luckily, it was still under warranty. Just bumps in the road...I guess. Perseverance probably should be the word for the day as I thought for sure I lost everything etc. Hubby was kind enough to make the necessary phone calls etc. and yesterday; he surprised me with a brand-new laptop. Spent all yesterday evening getting the new one set up etc. 

Just wanted to show you the temp yesterday morning when I was sitting at a light driving to into work at 6 am. It was like 78-79*. It's going to be a long summer...sigh...

Hurricane season opened yesterday. Wishing you all I beautiful day, I need to start getting around, pack my suitcase etc. I need to be in Jacksonville by noon.
