Meme'ing my way...

I know Meme'ing is not a word...who cares. What's up, buttercups {{grin}}-- I am on a 8 day work week (day 7 today--getting ready for inventory a month early! This will be done Friday. Sat., Mon. My days off), I accidently deleted a Currently post, and I feel like I am gonna snap...so how about some Meme's before I do.

1. Something you've done recently that required you giving 110%?

My job requires my devout attention; 1,000%. If not, one can get hurt. Besides, I am very attention to detail, so the job fits.

2. What task-sport-chore-hobby-activity have you participated in or completed, that if judged, would land you a perfect 10?

See above. My customer service when I am out on the 'floor' goes way and above beyond then what is needed.

3. What are ten of your favorite things right now? Not in any particular order

Money

Family

Pepsi

Friends

Co workers

Common Sense

Take out Pizza

Coffee

Chocolate

Water (as in bottled water)

4. Nine times out of ten I fall asleep before 7 pm.

5. Where were you when the world stopped turning, twenty years ago this week?

I was getting my son ready for pre/day school. My husband came home from work and told us we weren't going anywhere. What a sad sad day. I still can't talk about it, although I knew no one who died, I did have a brother (Firemedic) who went from Fl. to NYC to help out-they drove straight thru in a firetruck. Amazes me.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

That's where I am.

The Wild West

It's time for Tuesday 4 an invention of our late friend Toni Taddeo.

Let's talk about The Wild West!

1. Do you have a favorite TV western you enjoyed? Tell us about it.

I liked Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, Gunsmoke, Rin Tin Tin, Lone Ranger.

2. Lots of western movies... which was one you enjoyed?

I really like the old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. Not one stands out right now. Oh wait, The Man Who Shot Liberty Vance, loved Lee Marvin.

3. John Wayne was in many westerns and had many fans. What actor is your favorite?

See above, grin.

4. You are going to have to move to a western state that has cowboys! Which state will you choose and why?

Montana, Wyoming or  Idaho...and since my current favorite tv show is in hiatus until Nov.

I would say Salt Lake, Wasatch, Weber, Summit (Utah) and Montana where the show is filmed. Looks to be beautiful country.

Appleing into the Hodgepodge...

I'm 'appleing' into the Hodgepodge today.

1. As we begin this brand new month tell us, on a scale of 1-10, where does your life fall in terms of being in 'apple pie order'? Please elaborate. (1=nowhere near it, 10=practically perfect in every way).

Who's a 10? Just wondering. My life is no where's a 10. Maybe in between. I don't even think folks can be a 10. See, I am stuck on 10. ANYWAYS, IF I were a 10, I would be rich and not have any money worries, no worries of safety, no worries of living where we live etc. I would be living by a lake, enjoying life instead of working and worrying about making ends meet. So, there you have it. BUT with that said, having money is a problem in all in itself.

2. An apple a day keeps the doctor away...are you doing your part?

I like apples and it doesn't matter what kind they are.

Red or green? Sweet or tart?

Doesn't matter, I like them all. My employer usually has apples, bananas, plums and oranges in the breakroom. I try to partake in a piece of fruit a day.

Ever played the game Apples to Apples?

Probably

Do you like apple pie? If so, ala mode or just gimme the pie?

Ala mode, thank you very much.

3. Tell us about a time recently where you 'upset the apple cart' or the last time someone 'upset your apple cart'?

I am always upsetting someone's apple cart and I probably ought not say that out loud {{grin}}. We all know I am highly opinionated. ANYWAYS, the other evening, I/we was getting ready to leave work and we (fellow employee John) fell behind --thanks to a honey do list that was given to us 2 hrs prior. ANYWAYS, the garbage needed to be emptied and while he was off doing something else on that list (we divided the list) I had to empty the garbage. The garbage was loaded with broken glass (a big no no) and just general nasty stuff. It took 20 min. to get that bad out of the can and I was ticked off. Whew, my temper flew. The girl who was on the maintenance team came by to help. ANYWAYS, I might have left a note to my boss about that garbage. I am sure he probably got a good laugh, I shall find out tomorrow when I return. ANYWAYS, John and I didn't get out until 30 min. late. My temper was really flaring and my husband and son knew not to say anything when I walked in the door smelling like the garbage, it was bad.

4. What are three words that come to mind when you think of September?

Not words but a thought:

5. What are you most looking forward to this month?

Well, honestly...I have already seen it. We went over to Bennett's Nursery yesterday:

Where I was sharply rebuked and told NO not until the end of Sept.{{lol}}

That would be my husband, I was busy snapping photos and he was saying, "Linda! Get over here and pick out what colors you want!" 2 purple and 1 orange mums came home with us. They were 3 for $22. A fair price considering how huge they are.

Insert your own random thought here.

I'll give you a teaser on what I have been doing...

last years photo. I am too lazy to take a current photo.

Changing out curtains. Again, hubby is like, "Why?" He's just mad because he lost something...or shall I say he can't remember where he put an item. A few months ago, I found a handmade (pumpkins etc.) table runner and I hand washed it and hung it up and I noticed it wasn't there anymore (where I hung it up in the laundry area). Yeah...he is tearing things apart looking for it. He is also mad because he has to tear thru the front hall closet to get the fall wreathes out. Hey, it gives him something to do, grin.
