Currently...

Linking back to Stacy. Buckle up folks, its going to be a long one.

Weather...at 8:45 am it's 58*. Storms are on the horizon for later today.

Reading...House contracts/bid etc. (whatever it is called)

Feeling...ticked off and perhaps a rolling eye or two. wink

Cooking...I made tacos last night. It was suppose to be Quesadillas, but I ended up making tacos. Tonight I'll make Chicken Quesadillas.

Pondering...since some of you have asked about my mil. The issue that ticked me off, still...most of you are aware we have court ordered guardianship of my mother in law and her husband. The aide called yesterday that mil was running a 101* temp. So, hubby called the ambulance and met them there. What ensured just boils are blood. My mil is playing a very dangerous game. Plain and simple. While the ambulance folks were attending to her (btw, there was no fever-she bought it upon herself) the aide comes back in (she had left before hubby got there) with a huge pack of water and milk and tells my mil here is her change (change? where did she get money in the first place?) and how sorry they have to go without because her son (my husband) refuses to provide. My mil is using the poor girl. My mil has plenty of supplies etc. She has food and supplies delivered every week on Fridays. My husband told the aide to leave and he would be calling her supervisor etc. So, he had the ambulance folks take his mother in, the hosp. kept her for a few hours, nothing wrong, tests were run etc. My husband made sure they did the whole gambit. BTW, family still can not be in the hosp. or on the grounds. Come to find out they/inlaws had the furnace on (it was 82* here yesterday) and she made herself dehydrated so she could attention. Yep. We also found out the aide has been ordering items from here and there for mil (we have been getting odd bills/invoices). This is the 3rd time this has happened. So, hubby has decided to once again fire the nursing staff. We also found out my mil claims she can't walk into her shower. A couple of months ago we had a wheelchair/walk in shower put in. All she has to do is walk in, no steps, no ramps etc. Nope, she has the poor girl convinced she is invalid. What she is is mentally ill with dementia hence why we are court approved guardians. It's a sad sad situation that is only getting worse.

Thankful...for patience, although that is wearing thin. Thankful for starting the new job, I go in later today for Orientation.

Feeling...ok. Not nervous etc. Just ready to get going.

This week/rest of week...will get my new schedule etc. today. So, I will more than likely be working. Like my husband said, "Your vacation is over with." LOL---also the bid on the house goes in on Thursday evening.

Laugh...

Have a great day all.

Tuesday 4

Joining in on the Tuesday 4.

What was the best thing you have ever bought?

Hmm...not sure...ever bought...I would have to seriously reflect on this.

What was the best book you have ever read?

I would say the Bible. But I have read many other books and the Harry Potter books come to mind.

What is the best food you've ever eaten?

Geesh...best food? Since I am a comfort food kind of girl...but I would probably say Pizza. I love pizza and could eat it everyday.

What was the best movie or TV series you've ever watched?

I am really enjoying a show called Escape to the Chateau. A quirky British couple and their two young children bought a French Chateau; no electricity, no running water...anyways, they have spent the last couple of years restoring etc. I just love their humor and perspective on life etc. But, I am finally getting caught up on

Not that I truly have a favorite movie or tv show.
