Currently...a late Friday Post

 Currently...a late Friday Post, although I have been home from work since 2 pm. So, came home and made an early dinner of Tomato Basil Soup and Havarti Grilled Cheese on Oatmeal/Oatnut Bread. The guys proclaimed it a hit. Boy, did I make a mess ---the soup overboiled...anyways, so spent time cleaning the stove. You know how it is, you find a speck and then another, grin.

Currently in Hornell...

Weather... 33, real feel is 28 and snowing and pouring rain at the same time. We are under a winter storm warning. Glad we don't have to go anywhere etc.

Reading...not a darn thing.

Listening to...hubby has the Alabama / Notre Dame game on. The "Boy Wonder" is talking/chatting to his friends online.

Celebrating...believe it or not, hubby and son packed up all the Christmas stuff/ outside and inside today. Enjoying a nice clean house. I do feel sad because I did NOT participate in any reindeer games this year.

Looking forward to...Sunday, my day off. There was an incident yesterday which required a harassment charge against a customer who threatened me and another employee. Thought for sure both of us were going to get hit. You know folks,  NONE of us like the Covid rules, but rules are rules. That is my job to make sure you do follow the rules and its for your safety as well as mine. My employer doesn't play---takes this stuff seriously (the threat). It was a very scary and real situation that went sour quickly. On that note, I can not say anything about the Tweet that went out from Corp. in reference to Sen. Josh Hawley.

Waiting for

...sigh...so...because I like earning money and the pay and stuff is real good,  I will stay with my current employer until this Covid stuff gets worked out--IF EVER. Word on the street is our gov. is looking to shut the schools down and the Teachers Union is pushing it. I really have mixed thoughts about this...and better leave it at that.

On another note...all my Bath and Body packages arrived; they had a great sale on Wallflowers, Rose Lip Balm and some other items.

Let's see, we did nothing on our 32nd wedding anniversary yesterday due to the fact I had to work until 3:30--and everything was closed due to the buzzkill of Covid mandates. I did get a real nice card and some ornaments (I am just to lazy to take photos, maybe on Sundays post), also, he said there is a package coming from Pandora Jewerly. My bet is its another charm for my charm bracelet.
