We decided to get out and about yesterday and do some day after Christmas shopping. Off we went to the big thrift store and Super Walmart near campus (45 min. drive). The weather was pretty mild, although it was overcast.
Found this Casserole dish for $3! $3 folks!!!
A heavy iron cookbook holder for .99 cents! .99 cents! I have always wanted a cookbook holder. Some days you find nothing at the thrift store and some days, you do.
Then we stopped at this little gift store downtown Geneseo and bought these cute pewter ornaments for .99 cents. Like we need more ornaments, right?
Off to the Super Walmart...which for the record, Hornell does not have.
Of course, I got side tracked and it took me longer to get back to the Christmas stuff. By the time I got back there, it was well picked through and I was bummed about not getting the sign I wanted (above). Lo and behold, by the time I made it back to checkout area (our meeting point) my son had grabbed this, scary that kid knows me all to well. 50% off and got it for $9. Of course I picked up wrapping paper and some other things (forgot to take photos).
And then home and look what was waiting in the mail. Thank you to my son for a late Christmas present. I haven't watched it, maybe this weekend.
Have a great day all-I have to 'work' today (open the museum).
